Hiya! Watching from Oregon's Willamette Valley, and I'm so heartened to see your faces and hear your thoughts on all of these topics. As much as there are GREAT farmers out there putting food on our tables in all kinds of ways, it is undeniably refreshing to see some young, female faces! Woohoo! Go, you! And yes, don't get me started on food destruction! (I'm a 61-yr-old manager of a 300-ish acre farm my forebears homesteaded in the mid-1840s. I was raised in the suburbs but always wanted to be more involved with our farm. I finally got my chance to step in a few years ago. It's never too late to find a way to do what we love!)
