Thank you! Yes, I'm sure we will have another dog some day. But we still have Beebe the Brave, my livestock guardian. As an "extra-large dog", her vet expenses are fairly hefty when required so I'm mindful of taking on too much. She's only 5 though, so hopefully I'm on better financial footing by the time she starts to go downhill.🙏

My husband buried one of our dogs at her favorite river overlook. He hiked up to the spot with her in a backpack. The rocks piled on her grave are now covered with cushion moss.
